Martin Schoeppler
CEO and President

Martin Schoeppler is CEO and President of FUJIFILM Dimatix. He joined Spectra (now known as FUJIFILM Dimatix) in 2004 to create new businesses for digital materials deposition applications using inkjet technology for electronics, displays and bioscience product fabrication.

Schoeppler is a seasoned international executive with extensive electronics market experience and more than 25 years of senior management responsibilities at Hewlett-Packard Co., Lumileds Lighting, and Agilent Technologies, Inc.

Schoeppler holds a BSEE degree from the University of Applied Science in Esslingen, Germany and attended INSEAD in France and IMD in Switzerland.

Hidetoshi Shinada
Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Research & Development

Hidetoshi Shinada is the Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Research & Development at FUJIFILM Dimatix and also the General Manager of Advanced Marking Research Laboratories at FUJIFILM Corporation. He joined FUJIFILM Corporation in 1983 and since then developed and led many products of COMs (Computer Microfilms), imagesetters and CTP setters.

During 1996-2003, he worked for FUJIFILM Electronic Imaging Ltd. (previously Crosfield Electronics Ltd.) in the United Kingdom to manage R&D and received the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise: Innovation 2002, GATF INTERTECH Award 2000, the Technology Award 2001 from the Japanese Society of Printing Science and Technology and many others. Upon his return to Japan in 2003, he has led and continues to lead today the Inkjet R&D of the FUJIFILM Group which includes FUJIFILM Specialty Ink Systems Ltd. and FUJIFILM Imaging Colorants Ltd. Shinada holds an MS in Electronics Engineering from Hokkaido University in Japan.

Marc Torrey
Vice President of Product R&D and Marketing

Marc Torrey is the Vice President of Product R&D and Marketing at FUJIFILM Dimatix. Having joined Spectra, Inc., the predecessor of FUJIFILM Dimatix, when it was founded in 1984, Torrey brings to this position a diverse background in piezoelectric printhead design and prototype fabrication, system integration and engineering for a broad range of high performance industrial applications. Immediately prior to this appointment in 2008, Torrey was OEM Product Marketing and Business Development Director, responsible for those functions worldwide. Previously, he directed the company’s sales and technical support operations in Europe.

Torrey graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He also studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington, and received a Master’s degree from Lesley University.
