Martin Schoeppler is CEO and President of FUJIFILM Dimatix. He joined Spectra (now known as FUJIFILM Dimatix) in 2004 to create new businesses for digital materials deposition applications using inkjet technology for electronics, displays and bioscience product fabrication.
Schoeppler is a seasoned international executive with extensive electronics market experience and more than 25 years of senior management responsibilities at Hewlett-Packard Co., Lumileds Lighting, and Agilent Technologies, Inc.
Schoeppler holds a BSEE degree from the University of Applied Science in Esslingen, Germany and attended INSEAD in France and IMD in Switzerland.
Nobuo Matsumoto is the Senior Vice President at FUJIFILM Dimatix. He has been with FUJIFILM for more than 35 years, most recently as Divisional Manager of the Ink Jet Technology Division at FUJIFILM Research Laboratories. He holds more than 40 U.S. patents in printing applications.
Matsumoto received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology.
Andreas Bibl is the Chief Technology Officer at FUJIFILM Dimatix, a position he has held since the company was formed during the reorganization of Spectra in 2005. Previously, he had held the same positions at Spectra West since joining the company in 2001 to lead its West Coast Advanced Development operations. Bibl has over 30 years of experience in the high tech industry. He spent nearly a decade developing electronic instrumentation at Fluke before working with Versatec/Xerox PARC on new digital printing technologies. In 1987, he co-founded and was CEO and chairman of Raster Graphics Inc. During his years at Raster Graphics, he raised significant funds from leading investors, including Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Raster Graphics became a commercial success and went public. Bibl then co-founded Topaz Technologies which he and his co-founders self-funded and later sold to Calcomp Technologies, a division of Lockheed Martin. There the team developed a new piezoelectric-based printhead and a large format color printer.
Bibl holds a BS in Physics from the University of Saskatchewan. He holds more than sixty U.S. patents and patent applications in printing and non-printing applications.
Deane Gardner is the VP Engineering at FUJIFILM Dimatix. He joined Spectra (now FUJIFILM Dimatix) in 2001 as VP R&D for deposition products. In his new role, Gardner has overall responsibility for engineering and product development.
Gardner holds a BSEE from Caltech and a MSEE from Stanford University.
Joel Wood is the VP Operations at FUJIFILM Dimatix. Joel joined Spectra (now FUJIFILM Dimatix) in 1999 from Rockwell Automation where he was Director of Operations for the Motion and Information Group. Prior, he was actively involved in operations management at a number of Rockwell Automation manufacturing facilities focused on electronic and mechanical assembly processes. His strong manufacturing background has been developed through 20+ years of engineering and manufacturing assignments with the Allen-Bradley Company and with General Motors Corporation.
Joel holds an MS in Engineering Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from General Motors Institute.
