Servicing Spectra™ Printheads

There are a variety of methods of integrating and servicing Spectra printheads. Therefore, Dimatix only supplies and supports its products to its authorized manufacturers, not to end users of printers.

Contact your printer manufacturer or its designated sales/service agent for service information, service, and replacement parts.

Dimatix Ink Recommendations

Use only the inks provided or recommended by the manufacturer of your printer.

Specifically, we recommend against the use of 3rd-party inks. This is because neither Dimatix nor your printer’s manufacturer has any control over the formulation or quality of 3rd-party inks. Use of these inks will not produce the printing results that the printer manufacturer intended. Even worse, they may damage your printheads, and their use will probably void the printer manufacturer’s warranty.

These companies provide a broad range of ink products suitable for use in Spectra printheads and they have a proven track record in developing, formulating and manufacturing high performance ink jet inks for a broad range of applications.

Spectra Approved Ink

Spectra Approved Inks are rigorously tested for compatibility with the materials used in Spectra printheads. Ask your printer manufacturer for Spectra Approved inks.

Each Spectra printhead is rigorously tested and serialized prior to leaving our semiconductor grade clean rooms and facilities. They arrive in special anti-static, sealed, see-through bags that are free from external contamination.
